Join AZEFT

We invite you to join AZEFT and become a part of our thriving community of skilled, compassionate clinicians.

You can join anytime throughout the year, and your membership is good for one year! Lifetime memberships are a one-time payment, so you will never have to pay dues or renew membership ever again!

To become a member of AZEFT, you must also be a member of our parent organization, the International Centre for Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Once you join ICEEFT, your decision to pay the annual or lifetime membership fee to join AZEFT gives you a powerful presence, both locally and internationally, in the mission of building loving connection in families and other close relationships.

​But your membership in ICEEFT and AZEFT is more than just a financial contribution. It is also the gift of you -- your energy, your skill, your willingness to learn – to improve the lives of your clients, and to provide support to and receive support from other dedicated therapists in the place where you live.

AZEFT Membership Renewal
All Annual AZEFT Memberships are good for 12 months. You will receive a friendly renewal reminder email before your membership is up for renewal, and you will have a 30-day grace period to renew your membership. Members who choose to not renew their AZEFT membership and/or their ICEEFT membership will lose all membership perks. 


Please note, contributions to section 501(c)6 organizations [such as AZEFT] are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return. Dues, fees for training and other charges may be deductible as trade or business expenses if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business.

Before filling out the membership application below, please be sure your ICEEFT membership is active. You cannot join AZEFT until you are a member of ICEEFT (this is their rule, not ours). To join ICEEFT, please visit www.iceeft.com. 

    Students Only
    Please email a copy of your current student ID and/or proof of current enrollment in a full-time mental health graduate program to our Membership Coordinator, Michelle Hildt, at [email protected]. 
    Please remember, you MUST be a member of ICEEFT in order to be a member of AZEFT. If you only join AZEFT and not ICEEFT, your membership to AZEFT will be invalid. 

    Upon clicking 'Submit Application,' you should receive a confirmation notice that reads, "Thank you. Your information has been submitted." If you do not receive this notice, please review your application and correct the required information outlined in a red box. 
After submitting your membership application, please choose your preferred Membership option below. Click the "Pay Now" button to complete your membership registration. And don't forget to "round up" if you'd like to contribute more to AZEFT to help support ongoing programs and services.
