Currently, AZEFT is seeking to fill 4 Board Member positions:
Student Member(to begin ASAP) A current student in a masters- or PhD-level mental health graduate program in Arizona is encouraged to apply for this NEW Board position. The Student Member will work to develop relationships with Arizona mental health training programs for therapists and psychologists, offer EFT workshops and lectures to training programs, and host Student-member networking and learning events.
Treasurer(to begin February 2022, shadowing to begin ASAP) The person in this position provides monthly financial reports to the President & Board, while maintaining the AZEFT bank account. The Treasurer also coordinates with other Board members to negotiate contracts for speakers, venues, catering, etc.
Director of Annual Training(to begin February 2022, shadowing to begin ASAP) This person is responsible for planning the annual training event in fall. This includes securing the speaker(s) and venue, obtaining all event information for marketing purposes, and serving as the point-of-contact for attendees, trainer(s), and any others involved in event.
General Qualifications for All Board Member Applicants - Arizona EFT Therapist and active member of AZEFT - Able to consistently attend virtual monthly Board meetings, one Monday per month from 8:30-10:00am - Able to attend one all-day Annual Strategic Planning Meeting each year, usually in January/February on a Saturday - Able to fill this role for the entire 2-year term, plus additional time for training prior to term commencing (option to renew for a second 2-year term if desired) - Team player with a passion for helping to build and strengthen AZEFT and our local EFT community

The Arizona Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy provides training for therapists and EFT for couples and families. AZEFT is an affiliated Center of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
